Database Administrator Officer

Information Technology Division

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) in financial services or banking.
    • Proficient in DBMS: MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle.
    • Strong understanding of backup & recovery, replication, clustering, and partitioning concepts.
    • Experienced with operating systems (Linux, Windows Server).
    • Basic knowledge of cloud databases.
    • Hands-on experience with database monitoring tools.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Install, configure, patch, and upgrade databases.
    • Create and manage database instances, schemas, and tables.
    • Monitor and tune database performance.
    • Develop effective backup and data replication strategies.
    • Coordinate and implement technological solutions.
    • Collaborate with application teams for application database maintenance.
