According to him, this accomplishment reflects the unique value of sukuk instruments, which not only provide returns for investors but also deliver social benefits to society. It further demonstrates BRIDS’ commitment to supporting national economic growth, particularly through the development of the Islamic capital market.

“Every transaction we arrange emphasizes financing with fund allocations directed toward social, environmental, and sustainability aspects through the issuance of thematic sustainability-linked bonds and sukuk by various issuers. This proves that the capital market can serve as a key driver of inclusive development for Indonesia’s economy,” said Laksono.

As of July 2025, BRIDS has completed 41 debt securities issuances, consisting of bonds and sukuk, with a total underwriting value of IDR 12.9 trillion. This marks an increase of approximately 8% compared to the same period in 2024 with 38 transactions, while the underwriting value surged by around 50% from IDR 8.6 trillion in July 2024.

“Going forward, we will continue to provide more innovative and sustainable capital market financing services, expand collaboration across strategic sectors, and further strengthen synergies within the BRI Group ecosystem. Our aspiration is for Indonesia’s capital market instruments to not only serve as fundraising tools but also deliver tangible benefits to society at large,” Laksono concluded.
