BRIDS Wins Best Bank for Research in Indonesia Award from Euromoney

Jakarta, August 15, 2025 – PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas (“BRIDS”), a subsidiary of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (IDX: BBRI), has once again achieved remarkable international recognition by winning the Best Bank for Research in Indonesia award at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2025 held in Singapore.
This award reaffirms BRIDS’ position as a key player in Indonesia’s capital market research landscape. Euromoney recognized BRIDS for its structured approach, extensive research coverage across more than 18 strategic sectors, and its ability to deliver relevant analysis for market participants. Supported by an experienced team of analysts divided into three main divisions – macroeconomic research, equity research, and fixed income research – BRIDS consistently produces high-quality research products, ranging from macro strategy reports and sectoral reviews to daily market updates.
Accurate Research Builds Investor Confidence
Throughout 2025, BRIDS’ macro strategy reports have been praised for their timeliness and accuracy in anticipating market direction. In March 2025, the report titled “In Search of Parallels” successfully projected an economic recovery similar to that of 2016, driven by government stimulus and Bank Indonesia’s interest rate cuts.
Meanwhile, the July 2025 report “The Exuberance Returns” precisely predicted the positive trend in the capital market, reflected in the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) reaching a new record high in August 2025 and a 90 basis-point decline in government bond yields, supported by positive fiscal and monetary catalysts.
BRIDS President Director, Laksono Widodo, expressed his appreciation for the Euromoney award while reaffirming the company’s commitment to continuously strengthen the quality of its research.
“We are proud to receive this recognition amid complex market challenges. This achievement is a testament to the hard work of our research team, which consistently delivers insight-driven research for both institutional and retail investors. Sharp and in-depth research will always serve as the foundation of strong investment decisions,” said Laksono on Friday, August 15, 2025.
Solid research performance has also contributed to BRIDS’ business growth. In 2024, bond transactions rose by 86%, the number of corporate clients grew by 44%, and equity research coverage reached 60–65% of Indonesia’s market capitalization, including expansion into mid-small cap stocks such as Wintermar Offshore Marine, ESSA Industries Indonesia (ESSA), and Bank BTPN Syariah (BTPS). BRIDS’ stock recommendations have positively impacted the performance of various sectors, including banking, healthcare, consumer, coal, and poultry.
Furthermore, BRIDS has strengthened digital innovation by developing internal analytical tools, expanding research distribution through digital channels, and actively participating in various industry forums. Looking ahead, BRIDS targets to elevate its research ranking to tier 1 among the majority of its clients and to become the top-of-mind provider of Indonesian capital market research by 2029.
