Retail Research Analyst

The Retail Research Analyst is responsible for preparing equity market analyses, issuer research reports, and educational content tailored for retail investors. This role also provides relevant and easy-to-understand insights to support individual investors in making informed investment decisions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Have an active WPPE certification

• Relevant certifications such as CSA or CTA are preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in equity or capital market research (fresh graduates may be considered if other qualifications are met).

• Strong understanding of both fundamental and technical analysis.

• Ability to create clear and engaging research materials tailored to retail investors.

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and research tools such as RTI, Investing.com, etc.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare stock analysis reports (both fundamental and technical) for the retail segment.

• Develop market research and educational content (daily/weekly/monthly market outlooks, stock picks, sector highlights).

• Conduct research on public companies and related industries based on financial statements, AGMs, electricity development plans (RUPTL), market news, etc.

• Deliver research findings through various formats such as articles, infographics, short videos, webinars, and presentations.

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and education teams to provide relevant insights to retail clients.

• Monitor macroeconomic developments, regulatory policies (OJK, IDX, BI), and their impacts on the capital market.

• Respond to retail investor inquiries via forums, social media, webinars, or live events.
